Le patrimoine du Gramercy Park Hôtel à Manhattan, a été honoré grâce à sa transformation par Ian Schrager accompagné de son ami Julian Schnabel (artiste et cinéaste américain, auteur du film Basquiat).
Il présente notamment une collection d'oeuvres d'art d'Andy Warhol,
Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Keith Haring ou Julian Schnabel lui-même.
